Pasco, WA :: Welcome to Pasco, a city that is normally considered squarely located in the “dry side” of Washington state! However, this was a special day, and Rufino and KC’s wedding just happened to be part of one of those ‘special’ wet days! Not to worry… Rain is a challenge, but it comes with it’s own rewards too. It wasn’t hot, and there wasn’t bright sunlight to keep everyone sweating and squinting all day, right? (There’s always 50/50 balance in photography and a counter reaction to every situation!)

Rufino & KC took it all in stride, which was nice to see… and I believe they were rewarded later in the evening when the evening wind blew away the clouds and ushered in a spectacular sunset and a glorious gradient sky. That sunset was a moment that I wish we could have experienced for hours, but I also realize that’s what makes our job so important, and what makes a sunset so romantic!
